Dispel The Myth — Sales Meetings

Obviously, some sales meetings might be a “waste of time” but when the Broker or Sales Manager properly prepares this (these) meeting(s) can be the best hour of the week. There is something about an agent being current with what is going on in the market, what changes have occurred with lending, trends that are happening faster-than-ever, what price range is selling more rapidly this month, issues that have come from the state legislature or the national, state or local REALTOR association.
The modern agent still needs to stay in touch with other agents in the office and get the feel of what is happening in the market place. With the vast available information on the Internet, the forms available on Zip Form, the home office, e-mail, the fax machine, it is easy to be deluded to think that you can do it all from home — and miss out on the human element of real estate.
So, please take a look at attending your office sales meeting — It is a MYTH to think that you will gain time by missing a sales meeting. Be one of the informed and share with your agents at the sales meeting. You’ll be glad you did. CDH
